ABC has negotiated discounted hotel rates for ABC Convention 2018 attendees. You must make your hotel reservation through Orchid Events. Hotel reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served, space available basis. Submit your request as soon as possible for the best opportunity of receiving your hotel choice. Attendees of the ABC Convention have the option of reserving a room within the ABC block at any of the following hotels:

  • Deposit

    All reservation requests must be accompanied by a credit card guarantee for one night’s room and tax for each room reserved. Your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED during this initial stage and will be held as a GUARANTEE only.

  • Acknowledgements

    Orchid Events will send reservation acknowledgements within 24 hours via email if booked online or by telephone; fax and mail acknowledgements will be sent within 48 hours of receipt. If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, contact Orchid Events. You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.

  • Cancellations & Changes

    Cancellations on or after Feb. 19, 2018 will be subject to a $50 processing fee. Rooms cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival date will be charged a penalty $50 and a hotel penalty of one night’s room and tax.

    From Los Angeles Airport: Take the San Diego Freeway (405) south to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.

    From Long Beach Airport: Take Lakewood Boulevard south to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710).   • Parking

    The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has more than 4,000 parking spaces in three parking garages and one ground level parking lot. Rates may vary by event and are in effect seven days a week. Check with your event manager for current rates. The Terrace Theater Parking Garage is generally open for theater events and has 800 parking spaces. The Arena Parking Garage is open for conventions, tradeshows and arena events and has 1,460 spaces. The Promenade Parking Garage is open for conventions, tradeshows and special events and has 350 spaces. The Main Parking Lot along Shoreline Drive has 1,500 spaces.

    Parking is $15 per car entry to any of the center's lots.

Hotel Deadline

All reservations must be made by Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, to guarantee availability and conference rates. After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates.
